Prepositions
Prepositions are words which show the relationship of one thing to another. They often tell you where one thing is in relations to another, or the ‘position’ that it is in. They are always attached to a noun or pronoun.

Message from Miss Koenig
It’s hard to believe that we have already been back at school for two weeks. How quick the time flies by. 5OK have been settled back into school routine well and are already quite busy.
The students in 5OK are still enjoying using the Netbook computers where knowledge is literally at their fingertips. They have started a digital portfolio, this portfolio will allow the children to highlight their accomplishments throughout the year and to reflect on their experiences. Having the Netbooks has allowed the process of regular self reflection to be much easier for the students and it will be really interesting to see how these portfolios turn out.
Last week Lachie and Maddie achieved success in receiving the monthly Habit of Mind award. This award was for Persistence. Both Lachie and Maddie always try their best, keep going until they finish all set tasks and never give up. Congratulations to you both and keep up the great work.
Make sure that you all continue to try hard in Managing Your Impulsivity and Persisting. Keep in mind this months Habit of Mind is Striving for Accuracy. I will be looking out for those people who try their best to be ’spot on’. You all can do it!
