Netbooks for Year Five

Today was the day that the Netbook computers arrived in our classroom. We have been busy learning how to use them and exploring all of the cool features. Tell everyone what you think about them by leaving a comment.

The netbooks we got on the 25/3/09 are awesome.You get to do a lot of things on them. They are the coolest things ever!!!

They are soooooooo cute.
I like playing tux typing, kahootz, paint a heaps more.

I think the Netbook is great and I think they’re cool with all the games on them, and the games teaches us some great things.

I think the netbooks are a great idea. They will really help us to learn and will make us smarter for the future because technology is always getting better and a netbook is a prime example of that.

There’s lot’s of games, my fav is the typing one( forgot what it is called)
Plus we can all most take it ANY WERE!!!! I think?

i think its great that we have lap tops because we can just for something and it will come up with something they are also small so they fit in your bag and has a lot of games and a lot of stuff to do like a web-cam.

Hi,
Thes netbooks are awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are so many different types of games and we have acsess to the Internet too. They are really small but if you want to know how big they are, look at the picture up the top to see how big they are. They have over 80 different games and features and the brand is ACER. But you have to be very very careful when you are handling them beacause they break very easily.
Abbey accidently dropped hers and it nearly broke. We can also take them home at the end of the term. after that we get to take them home nightly to use and charge. But these netbooks ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my grade is playing on the new computers now that we get in year six. they are awesome as so are the mini laptops i think that they look really cute lol have fun with them byexx

Hi guys,
My name’s Peter Hodkinson and I teach Grade 5 over at Baimbridge College Hamilton. We’ve just started really getting into our Netbooks too and we’re just starting our first blogs. Any tips on how to get the most out of them? Anyway, I thought I might say hi and let you know other teachers are reading your amazing blog.
